Terms of use

Last updated 2 October 2026.

HIBN is a free public beta run by BEMA Labs Pty Ltd. By using HIBN, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use HIBN.

“We” means that company. “You” means the person using HIBN. Only people aged 18 and over may use HIBN.

What HIBN is

HIBN lets you run a fixed set of questions against an AI you use and see a score. It is free. It is a beta, so it may change, pause or contain errors.

A score describes one check on a small set of questions. It is not advice. It is not a statement about any AI provider or product, and it can’t show that an AI was changed.

Using HIBN

  • Check only an AI that you are allowed to use, and follow its terms.
  • Don’t try to break or overload HIBN, copy its content by automated means, or open other people’s results.
  • Don’t put personal or sensitive information into a check or a pack. In feedback, include nothing personal beyond a way to reach you.
  • Paste the AI’s reply as it was written. Don’t paste a reply that you made up or changed. If a reply holds personal details, don’t paste it: run a new check instead.
  • Don’t use a script or a bot to run checks.

Your results

We store and use your results as the Privacy & data page describes. You can delete a result for as long as you can open it.

Quick and Deep checks with a score are counted in public Analytics as totals and medians. We may leave out a check that looks automated or abusive.

Custom Packs: community rules

  • A pack holds text questions only, each with an answer that can be stated exactly.
  • A pack must not contain personal information, harassment, hateful, sexual or illegal content, or anything you don’t have the right to share.
  • No spam, and no links that promote something.
  • We may hide a pack that breaks these rules. To report a pack, open it and choose “Report this pack”.

You keep any rights you have in a pack you write. By publishing it, you allow us to show it on HIBN. You also allow other people to run it, and to copy its questions into packs of their own on HIBN, with your display name shown.

When you save a pack, you allow us to store it. If you delete it, we keep its content with no set end date, whether or not a result used it. Results that used it still show its title, and a check that was already started can still be finished. Copies that other people made of its questions stay theirs, with the “Based on” line.

You are responsible for what you put in a pack. We don’t review a pack before it is published, and we don’t confirm that its expected answers are right.

The questions

The Quick and Deep questions come from LiveBench and are used under the Apache License 2.0. About LiveBench has the details.

Our responsibility to you

HIBN is free and is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and available. We don’t promise that it will be free of errors or that it will always be running.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that can’t be excluded.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes from relying on a score. The same applies to loss from HIBN being unavailable, or from a Custom Pack written by someone else.

Changes, and ending use

We may change HIBN, or stop offering it, at any time.

We may change these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top. A change applies to your use of HIBN after that date.

You can stop using HIBN at any time. You can delete any result you can still open. If you break these terms, we may hide your packs, leave your checks out of Analytics, or stop you from using HIBN.

The law of New South Wales, Australia governs these terms.
